How Alarming

In the second chapter of Joel, the prophet sounds a warning to the people of Judah about judgments that are near and far--the invasion of a Babylonian army that would happen soon, as well as the "Day of the Lord," a great day of judgment that is yet to happen. Pastor Bob uses the illustration of an alarm clock to show how we all want to turn off a warning as soon as it sounds, but how foolish we are if we continually turn off God's warnings to us of the judgment to come. This message is an urgent call to heed God's warning and make sure we are ready for the return of Christ and the day of judgment that will follow.
